PROGRAMMING

Our exhibition programming is open to all art forms, with a strong emphasis on visual installation and performance art. Guest artists are invited to spend two-week residencies in Wichita and complete an installation of new work. Discussion sessions, artist talks and other events reinforce connections and foster interactions. Local artists and writers, student groups, and community members access the guest artist’s creative process and respond with new work in response through satellite exhibitions, essays and events.

FUTURE PROJECTS

Harvester Arts has hired consultant Armando Minjarez and organized a diverse group of artist delegates to examine and assist with restructuring and determining future programming. Please stay tuned for new opportunities and check out Chainlink Gallery Place for ongoing programming.

SUBMIT TO BE A RESIDENT

Interested in participating with Harvester Arts? Harvester Arts is open to all art forms but does focus on installation and performative projects. Our residencies offer an opportunity for an artist to develop and experiment. For the public, a Harvester Arts residency is an exposure to art-related ideas and creative processes. Resident artists are encouraged to engage with the public, though this is not a specific requirement for application or residency. Please complete the application form for consideration.
