Join Harvester Arts and the City of Wichita’s Division of Arts & Culture for a panel discussion exploring the artists point-of-view in creating public art in Wichita.

Moderated by Aaron Asis with Connie Ernatt, Ellamonique Baccus, Tina Murano & Kent Williams.

Experienced public works artists will be joining us on this panel to dig into the City’s Request for Proposal (RFP) and Percent for Art processes.

Banned Books Week Art Party

Kickoff and celebrate Banned Books Week with a FREE art party!

Sunday, September 22 // 1:30-4 p.m. // at the Advanced Learning Library

Attendees are invited create an artwork inspired by their favorite banned book that will be included in a community art installation during Banned Books Week from September 22nd – 29th.

There will be a “Bring Your Own Shirt” interactive block printing lab. Bring a light colored t-shirt or canvas bag to create your own Banned Books Week 2024 t-shirt or tote.

All art supplies are FREE and provided.
