Harvester Arts Awarded $70,500 from the Knight Foundation for the Community Fellows Program

May 25, 2019 | kate

We are so excited to announce that Harvester Arts has been awarded $70,500 from the Knight Foundation Fund at the Wichita Community Foundation! This funding will launch the second iteration of our Community Fellows program! This program will focus on training creatives on how to professionally execute and understand the business side of the arts. We will act as an incubator for creatives with community-focused ideas to support and mentor artists to produce their own events and ideas. Our first version of the program aimed to support local artists by giving them opportunities. This time, we’re training local artists to create opportunities for themselves & other local artists. Knight supported us for the first round of this programming two years ago so it’s very encouraging to see their continued support.

Stay tuned for information about applying to be a Harvester Arts Community Fellow!
